judah in jail...this site is PG
hey jude.

New Orleans

emily and i went down to New Orleans this past weekend to help my friend kristin move out of her house. She is now working for a missions organization called, Adventures in Missions, and is now living in an RV with two other AIM staff.

....it's amazing how parts of new orleans are devastated, and other parts look pretty much completely normal...
one thing i realized was that a lot of the damage is not as visual--especially when the water has receded... the water may have left, but the mold stayed...we didn't want to roll the windows down or get out where the mold was so prominent, so some of these pics are through the window.

french quarter

you can see the line on the walls where the water was...you can also see a water line on a lot of the houses.
you can tell that they are still working on repairing the roof of the superdome.

emily and i @ Cafe du Monde

the french quarter just opened this past week. it looks the same, but with a lot less people...
mmmm, coffee...one of my favorite things ever...
me and one of my closest friends.
